Snow Leopard of Western Sichuan · Pink

The soul closest to the sky dwells at the center where rays converge. The four corners hold the silhouette of sacred Mount Gongga; blue poppies — flowers that bloom only above four thousand meters — form a ring of tenderness. The snow mountain’s gaze is silent, yet enough to guard every traveler: as far as the eye can see, all are peaks.

The key elements are the snow leopard, the snow mountains, and highland plants. The leopard is placed at the center, with Mount Gongga — the most sacred peak of western Sichuan — at the four corners, marking the high altitudes where snow leopards live. A ring of Meconopsis, the "alpine sprite," finishes the piece. Animal, plant, and mountain are composed in carefully designed geometry, sharing the beauty of western Sichuan — and a spirit that dares the climb.
