Design Story
The blank space forms a vase of its own, and scrolling lotus grows deep within its body. A lady with a fan sits among the flowers, gazing long at a single lotus — where porcelain ends, jade begins; where beauty ends, the heart stirs. Some gazes need no answer: the moment she lowers her head, she is already meeting herself, tenderly.
Straight edges outside, gentle curves within, on the theme of rising unstained from the mud — with Qianlong-era porcelain vases as the foundation. The finishing touch: at the center, a lady and a lotus smile at one another. A ruyi-patterned background sets off the vase’s silhouette and graceful motifs, celebrating the beauty of Chinese porcelain — and the aspiration that comes with it.
